Adobe‘s #contentcredentials tech of the Content Authenticity Initiative could be the answer for the ability to distribute payment to artists for use of work in trained AI models.
The monetizing tech already exists, and artwork signed with #contentcredentials could be what’s used to legally train AI from it. At that point it would be no different than stock assets. What would be needed is a signature tag for each piece used in the generated model and if not already possible, Adobe has an incredible patent inventor of 100+ tech inventions, I’m sure he can certainly figure it out! I’ve used it for a couple pieces and plan on continuing to do so in the future. Would love an #API that can put a Content Credentials badge for websites displaying signed content. It has potential to help increase sales for many different type of art products, perhaps in the future even AI generated art.
